There isn’t much time to blog (or do anything else) lately. School is increasingly busy and difficult. I have my three hour allotment from Olivia’s bedtime at 9pm until midnight wherein I read chapters, study physiology, research articles, learn math (my class is one where my instructor doesn’t lecture, so we watch TERRIBLE lecture videos provided by the company that wrote our textbook and come to class with questions, rather than spend our time being taught in class), practice math, study physiology, study physiology, and practice math.
But I reserve Sunday nights as my homework free evening. Even though I can’t really spare the evening, I do it anyway. Oh, how I look forward to Sunday nights!
A story: Last night, after she had been in bed for an hour or so, Olivia started yelling that she had to go potty. She got out of bed, went potty, then as I was tucking her back in, I said, “Ok, lay down and go back to sleep.” Then she grabbed the tiny flashlight next to her bed, clicked it on, and said, “No, thanks. I’d rather spend my life looking around at things.”
And who am I to judge with her decisions or tell her how to spend her life?
Chelsea and I took our kids to Pumpkin Land this week:
I was kind of awful at documenting that day (who am I?? I don’t even recognize myself anymore!), but here is my meager offering.
Here’s the only picture I got of Chelsea with her kids and it was totally inadvertent. Try not to get hypnotized by that cat.
The corn maze that we spent ages in because they promised us a treat if we found the secret room with the bucket full of magic beans. The kids couldn’t have cared less about the stupid beans, but Chelsea and I were determined! We totally found it, by the way, but you’ll have to take my word for it since I have no photographic evidence. (but really, who am I??)
I said, “Make a face like a black cat!” and this is what I got:
So.
Olivia and Jack (who is a cross-dressing witch in this photo).
Really, with the faces, Olivia?
p.s. I got an iphone! And I’m on instagram as jeniellsworth. Let’s follow each other.
Walking like a fairy into church today.

Um... she has the best fairy walking ability I've ever seen! I love her. Can't wait to play again, thanks.
Pumpkinland looks so fun!
She is getting so tall! Am I crazy? Is it just me and my perception of the photos or is she giant?! (meant in the cutest, most adorable way ever)...I just can't believe how tall she is...
AND I love the pumpkin patch, I always think it would be so fun with kids...even tho I go as an adult and love it.
Miss you friend. Good luck with the studies! You're my hero.
