Some things and also some stuff.

- Out of desperation and boredom, I picked up Breaking Dawn for the second (maybe third?) time.  The movie is coming out soon-ish, might as well brush up, yes?  YOU GUYS.  Will someone please tell me how the h they are going to make this book into a passably decent movie?  TELL ME!  I love the series and everything, you probably do too, but can we all agree that this book is freaking psycho?  When this book first came out, I was so excited to read it.  And then, when I was reading it, I was like, “GAH! WHAT??!” and also, “Edward did not just ask Jacob to proposition Bella,” and also, “WHWLAKSJLFJ!! The drinking of the blood!  And the teeth baby!  And the feathers!” Even though I secretly like the feathers part.  Anyway, this book.   I mean, really.  Oh man, I am going to be wincing and giggling through all the serious parts, I just know it.  Even more than I did with the first three.  Also?  I am going to love it.  Somebody commit to go with me to a midnight showing, ok?

-  I need some new reading material, STAT.  (see above)  I feel like I’ve read all the big series and popular books.  If you have read something super spectacular lately, please share.  For the sake of my brains!  (the mere fact that I almost typed ‘brians!’ oughta convey the seriousness of the peril faced by my brains.)

- Tomorrow marks the first day of our gigantic family reunion with my mom’s family.  So excited!  You have no idea how desperately I’ve needed a short break from real life.  I’m sure I will have a couple hundred pictures to share, so get some good rest these next few nights so your little peepers will be prepared for the onslaught.

- I was reaching out to throw away Olivia’s old toothbrush (which magically decided to un-lost itself once I finally gave in and bought her a new one), but I was stopped by Olivia’s shout of, “NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  I am saving that toothbrush for my little stister!!!!!”  No little stisters are imminent, obviously, but when one is!  She will have a frayed, scratched off Elmo toothbrush waiting for her.  And can we all agree that ‘stister’ is the best pronunciation of ‘sister’?  Yes.  We can.

I basically read breaking dawn with a flashlight in the middle of the night, hidden under the covers because I didn't want my husband to even catch a glimpse of...ahem...awkward swallow...you know what. My husband is forbidden from ever reading the series. I was squirming in my chair, and hysterically giggling during the last twilight movie.
